Coffee Lemonade

Nick Puffer
A bold, citrusy twist on iced coffee—made with strong brewed coffee, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness. It’s crisp, refreshing, and perfect for summer sippin’.
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 180 g Strong Brewed Coffee (Cooled)
  • 30 g Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Simple Syrup, Honey, or Maple Syrup
  • 150 g Ice

Optional

  • 60 - 90 g Cold or Sparkling Water
  • Lemon Slice Or Zest For Garnish

Instructions

  • Brew your coffee extra strong and let it cool. An iced Americano recipe is a great base.
  • Mix your lemon juice and sweetener in a shaker or glass.
  • Add the cooled coffee and give it a stir or shake.
  • Pour over ice, top with water if you want it lighter, and garnish.

Notes

Coffee lemonade is all about balance—start with less lemon juice and sweetener, then adjust to taste. Using cooled, strong coffee (like an iced Americano or concentrated pour-over) prevents excess dilution and keeps the flavor bold. If you're using sparkling water, add it just before serving for a fizzy lift. Fresh lemon juice makes a big difference here—skip the bottled stuff if you can. And if you're experimenting, try flavored syrups (like lavender or ginger) for a twist that still plays well with the citrus.
